Built on Weebly and available only in Italian — no booking system, no visual identity. Every reservation came in by phone or WhatsApp, and it was costing Eva hours she did not have.

The brief

She is the riding instructor, the trekking guide, the B&B host, the booking coordinator, and the administrator — all at once, every day.

The brief had two goals that were not negotiable.

One: make the booking system easy enough to manage from her phone, without a developer.

Two: build a site she could update herself, without ongoing agency support. No monthly maintenance fees. No one to call when something needed changing.

The solution

A complete brand and digital system — designed from the ground up for a one-person operation that needed to work without ongoing outside help.

The visual identity was built first. A new logo and a brand palette drawn from the landscape of Valle Leventina — designed to feel rooted in its place without leaning on western cliché. The identity sits consistently across the site, the booking interface, and all guest-facing communications.

The website was rebuilt from scratch in Next.js and deployed on Vercel with mobile-first responsive design. Italian, English, and German were written as original texts — not translated from one master version into two others. Each language carries its own voice, its own sentence rhythm, its own assumptions about the reader. Three distinct pieces of writing that happen to say the same thing.

The booking and availability system is the technical centre of the project. A unified dashboard with role-based access handles ride bookings, trekking sessions, riding lessons, and B&B reservations in a single interface. When a guest submits a request, Eva receives a notification, reviews it on her phone, and approves or declines in under a minute. Automated confirmation and follow-up emails handle everything after that — no manual coordination, no back-and-forth by WhatsApp.

The system is fully self-manageable. Eva updates content, manages availability, and reviews bookings without developer involvement. No monthly retainer. No support contract. No one to call.
